Wagner area students and our first non-traditional student who are all receiving a full ride educational scholarship to help them accomplish their career goals. These students are receiving the Yankton Sioux Tribe and Build Dakota Partnership Scholarship, which is a full ride scholarship.

YHS Senior Named Build Dakota Scholarship Recipient
A Yankton High School student has been named a recipient of the Build Dakota Scholarship.
Trey Smith, a senior at YHS, will be attending Mitchell Technical College in the fall and will be pursuing a degree in Progressive Welding.

On Monday night, the Yankton City Commission authorized the Yankton Police Department to become a sponsor of the Build Dakota Scholarship program. Anyone interested in taking advantage of this program should contact the YPD at 605-668-5210 for more information.

26-member-class of Menno High School has approximately half planning to attend one of South Dakota’s four technical colleges, with several applying for the Build Dakota Scholarship.
