Build Dakota Early Success

As committees select the scholarship’s second round of recipients, its first class is finishing its first year of school.

"I don't have to work as much when I'm going to school because of the tuition and the books and the materials were covered with the Build Dakota scholarship," said Ryan Homan, nursing student at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown.

"It's a huge relief, actually. I was worried about having to pay for the whole process by myself, so it was a huge relief," LATI nursing student Christy Wilson said.

The scholarship program offered a full ride to about 300 students during this current school year.
